The toe seam
This is the line that closes the sock at the end of the foot. A thick seam rubs against the toes in a fitted shoe and creates discomfort after a few kilometers. The cuff
The elastic band at the top of the sock should hold without leaving marks. A cuff of 3 to 4 cm distributes the pressure correctly; a narrow cuff of 1 cm concentrates everything on one line and leaves a trace on the skin. Test it by stretching: it should immediately return to its original size.
Arch support
